Fusion Testing

We recommend testing Fusion in 2 steps. First, use our One Time Test Code to verify that your redirects and S2S callbacks are working properly. After you’ve verified these, we recommend you continue your testing by soft launching the links to 50-500 users. Because of the security measures in place to prevent survey fraud, testing Fusion links without being a true respondent will end up causing IDs to be blacklisted or result in other issues which don’t represent the true user experience. Our team will help monitor the initial traffic and provide feedback on performance and quickly identify if there are issues that need to be addressed.

Before you Begin

Before you begin testing, validate that your redirects have been entered properly and that your outgoing variable mappings have been entered. These should match your entry link variable names unless you require them to be different.

As a reminder, our default link for the Complete URL can be used if you implement an S2C callback for your completes. You can use our other default links if you don’t want to track these outcomes (not recommended)

Testing your Redirects and S2S Callback

To verify that your redirects have been set up correctly, you’ll need to set up an entry link and generate a One Time Test Code. This code will bypass our security and direct you to a test survey where you can choose the respondent outcome you’d like to verify.

When you use a One Time Test Code, you will be asked the screener questions every time

Generating the Link

Select the Country Specific as the type of link you would like to generate.

Choose the country where you would like test

Once you’ve selected your country, set the CPI value to $00.00.

Click on the green “Generate Entry Link” and blue “Generate one-time user test code” to generate the final test link

Add the one-time test code to the end of your entry link and paste the link into your panel management software. Please verify that your CPI is “0000” before implementing.

Validating The Test Outcome

After you complete the screener, you will be directed to a test survey where you can select from the following options. Select the option you’d like to verify and hit the red arrow. Selecting “Complete” will fire your redirect and S2S Complete postback. All other selections will only fire the corresponding redirect.
